Dashing Films is pleased to announce an open casting call for talented actors to be part of our upcoming productions. We are inviting both emerging and established performers who are passionate about storytelling to audition and showcase their craft.

This opportunity is designed to discover fresh talent and dynamic performers who can bring compelling characters to life in our forthcoming series and film projects.

About the Production: On Lagos Hills is an upcoming web series following three brothers and their younger sister navigating ambition, family loyalty, and life in the restless city of Lagos.

Who Can Apply

We welcome actors at different stages of their careers. Whether you are an aspiring actor looking for your first major opportunity or a seasoned performer seeking new roles, this casting call is open to you. Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the audition materials before preparing and submitting their performance.

What to Expect During the Audition

Participants will be expected to demonstrate their acting abilities through a series of performance exercises. Actors may take part in a group warm-up or training activity designed to prepare them for the performance process. They will also perform a scripted scene that may be rehearsed during the audition session.

Each actor is also required to present a prepared solo monologue. The monologue should be memorised and delivered confidently without the use of a script. Actors are encouraged to fully understand the dialogue, emotional context and intention of the scenes before performing.

Additional Skills

While not compulsory, performers who possess additional talents such as singing, dancing, playing musical instruments, acrobatics or gymnastics are encouraged to demonstrate these abilities during the audition. These extra skills may serve as an added advantage during the casting process.

  3. Select a character from the pack and prepare the monologue.
  4. Record your performance.
  5. Post the audition video on Instagram or TikTok and use the hashtag #LagosHills, tagging @dashingfilmstv in your caption.

Applicants should ensure that their video is clear, properly recorded and effectively showcases their acting ability.
